Building a Better World, One Community at a Time

Join us for our first general meeting of the semester!
When:Monday, February 20 th, 6:30 PM
Where:LSE 106 (see maps below)

At this meeting:

  • We will be giving an update on progress made in our project to build a healthcare / daycare clinic in Juarez, Mexico. Students from all majors are still needed to help make this project a reality!
  • We will be presenting an update on the DevelopingWWW Project. This project aims to increase free speech and multi-community interaction for refugee camps and developing world communities by providing each member community with an online newspaper and connection to a communication hub. With these tools and volunteer guidance, the DevelopingWWW will open up new opportunities for free speech, community building, and resource sharing in regions where such things were previously unavailable. This is an excellent opportunity for computer science engineering students to use their skills to help build a better world.

As always, we will be providing free pizza and beverages!

Undergraduate and graduate students of ALL MAJORS are WELCOME and NEEDED! YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Engineers Without Borders is an international humanitarian organization that partners with disadvantaged communities to improve their quality of life through implementation of environmentally and economically sustainable engineering projects, while developing internationally responsible students and professionals.
